For the last nine summers, I have volunteered to help eight to fourteen year old children at youth camps. I tutor most in math because I think it has great importance in our lives. Students often face the choice of asking for help but don't know when. I realized this early on in college. It's common for people to get frustrated, give up, and then their academics suffer. I can present different concepts in various ways, and even appeal to how the individual learns. From algebra and trigonometry through calculus, I can assist and even tutor SAT mathematics and AP calculus.I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Washington State University. In addition, I minored in Business Administration. I enjoy introducing students to basic engineering concepts and how knowledge of math is important in this field. Based in Moses Lake, Washington, I am interested in music, grassroots activism, volunteering, and The Grange.
